Aditya Arora was trained in Biotechnology engineering in his undergraduate education. After which he joined Indian Institute Technology Kanpur, India for his PhD on developing scaffold-based strategies for musculoskeletal tissue engineering. There he developed expertise in designing anisotropic scaffolds and injectable platforms for growth factor delivery for tissue engineering.
He joined Mechanobiology Institute in 2017 as a Research fellow and has been working on understanding cell-cell junction mechanics. He also contributes to projects on migratory sorting of cells, and engineering niches for embryonic stem cell differentiation by spatially controlled presentation of growth factors.
